Marquinhos dreaming of Dani Alves move

Marquinhos tells Barcelona defender Dani Alves to snub a contract extension at the Camp Nou and join him at Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has said that he would love to see Brazil teammate Dani Alves at the club next season.

With his contract poised to expire in June, the Barcelona right-back will be a high-profile Bosman this summer unless he signs an extension at the Camp Nou.

Consequently, a host of clubs, including Manchester United and PSG, have been credited with an interest, and Marquinhos wants to see Alves in the French capital.

"He's a champion with Barcelona and Brazil," he told Spanish paper Sport. "He has already proved himself and does not need to do any more.

"He is a player with great experience. I don't know if reports of his move to PSG are true or not, but I think a player like him can always help."

It was reported last week that the 31-year-old could still sign a new deal in Catalunya.
