Marquinhos talks up Marseille's teamwork ahead of Le Classique

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos talks up Marseille's teamwork ahead of their upcoming clash in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has warned his teammates about the collective strength of Marseille ahead of their Classique clash on Sunday night.

The Parisians face Marseille at the Stade Velodrome looking for three points that could potentially lift them above current Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.

"We know that they are a very strong team, and that the 'team' is their main strength," said Marquinhos, according to the club's official website.

"Marseille have a coach that has brought the best out of his players. They have understood his mentality, his philosophy.

"Players like [Dimitri] Payet and [Andre] Ayew can make the difference, but it's really as a collective that they are strongest."

PSG currently find themselves occupying second position in the league standings, two points behind Hubert Fournier's Lyon side.
