Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'Paris Saint-Germain not satisfied yet'

PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists that the club will not settle for another Champions League quarter-final exit, having beaten Chelsea to reach the last eight.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that his side will not settle for reaching the Champions League quarter-finals for a fourth consecutive season.

Laurent Blanc's side sealed their place in the last eight with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening to go with last month's win by the same scoreline in Paris.

Ibrahimovic, who was sent off when the two met in West London at the same stage last season, scored the winning goal on the night to kill off Chelsea's hopes, but he is now hoping to steer his side into the semi-finals for the first time since the Qatari investment in 2012.

"I stayed more than 20 minutes on the pitch this year! We did a good game, very stable. We played with lots of patient possession and when we had a chance to strike we scored two goals. We had enough to win the game," Ibrahimovic is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"Overall we played the way we wanted to. It was not easy, you have to watch out. Chelsea's front four are able to do anything. We are doing good things, where we end up we don't know. We are not satisfied yet."

Ibrahimovic's goal saw him become the 14th player to score 50 or more in UEFA club competition.
