Paulo Bento concedes that there is pressure on his Portuguese side to beat Denmark tomorrow afternoon.

Portugal coach Paulo Bento has conceded that there is pressure on his team heading into tomorrow's group encounter against Denmark.

Having lost their opening match against Germany 1-0 on Saturday night, defeat again Denmark in Lviv could end up eliminating Bento's side from the competition.

With that in mind, Bento has called upon his players to draw some inspiration from the Portuguese squad that reached the final of the same tournament back in 2004.

"There is more pressure than before the match against Germany and tomorrow we will be up against a tough opponent, so we shall have to impose our game from the outset," Bento told reporters.

"We lost our first game at Euro 2004 but we reached the final."

Bento has been in charge of the national team since September 2010.
