Steven Whittaker has revealed that he is hoping Neil Adams remains in charge of Norwich City for the foreseeable future.
Former youth team coach Adams replaced Chris Hughton earlier this month, but it is believed that the length of his reign at Carrow Road could depend on whether the club stays in the Premier League.
"Neil Adams is our manager now and we all want to do as well for him as we can," Whittaker told members of the media. "Personally I am definitely hoping that he is still our manager next season.
"So hopefully we can get the results that we need to keep Norwich in the Premier League and keep Neil Adams as our manager next season."
Norwich, who are currently two points clear of the relegation zone, face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
