Former Celtic striker John Hartson has insisted that Gary Hooper can force his way into Roy Hodgson's England squad next season.
The 25-year-old ended recent speculation yesterday afternoon when he completed a switch from the Scottish champions to Premier League outfit Norwich City.
Discussing the move, Hartson believes that if Hooper fulfills his potential at Carrow Road, then he has a real chance of earning himself a call-up to the international squad.
"Norwich City have bagged themselves a very good player in Gary Hooper, I have no doubt whatsoever that Gary will score goals in the EPL," he wrote on Twitter.
"If he scores goals for Norwich regularly, he will get noticed for England, playing in Scotland for Celtic players tend to get overlooked."
Hooper scored 82 goals in 138 appearances during his three years with Celtic.
