Reports claim that Everton have not received a bid from Manchester United for England left-back Leighton Baines.

Sources at Everton have reportedly claimed that the club have received no offers from Manchester United for left-back Leighton Baines.

The Red Devils have long been linked with the England international, with some reports having claimed that an offer for his services has been submitted.

However, sources at Goodison Park have told ESPN that no bids have been made for the 27-year-old.

"We have not even had a single enquiry from Manchester United. Every week we are asked the same question, but it is the same answer, and we are getting a touch fed up with it," said the unnamed source. "For two months it has been suggested that Manchester United have bid for Baines, but it is simply not true."

Baines is believed to have been valued in the region of £15m by the Toffees.
