Chris Smalling "gutted" with Swansea City defeat

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling calls on his team to bounce back from their defeat at Swansea when they welcome Liverpool in their next Premier League game.

Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling has revealed his disappointment at his team's 2-1 defeat to Swansea City on Sunday.

Juan Mata sent United ahead in the second half of the Premier League clash in Wales, but the hosts responded through Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis to claim all the points.

Smalling has said that he was "gutted with the result", but believes that the Red Devils will bounce back in their next league game against Liverpool on September 12.

Louis van Gaal's side have started the new league season with two wins, one draw and a defeat, leaving them fifth in the table entering the international break.
