Paul Pogba has been pictured arriving at the Manchester United training ground on Friday morning.
Despite being expected to miss a month of action after an ankle operation, seven weeks have now passed without the Frenchman being in contention for a return.
However, Manchester Evening News says that the 26-year-old was present at the club's Carrington training facilities ahead of the meeting with Watford at the weekend.
While there does not appear to be any possibility of the World Cup winner featuring against the Hornets, Pogba's presence could be perceived to be a positive in his bid to be included in a first-team squad over the coming weeks.
Pogba has made just four appearances since September 25, the latest of which came against Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
Real Madrid and Juventus are said to be keen on signing Pogba during the summer.
