Yaya Toure 'has no future at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola'

Journalist Graham Hunter says that Yaya Toure has "no chance" of staying at Manchester City under new manager Pep Guardiola.

Yaya Toure is expected to be offloaded by Manchester City once new manager Pep Guardiola arrives at the club, according to European football journalist Graham Hunter.

Guardiola has agreed a three-year deal with the Premier League club and will replace Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season.

The Spaniard sold Toure during his four-year spell as Barcelona boss, and Hunter believes that the midfielder will be one of the first to go when Guardiola comes through the door.

"I personally think Yaya Toure has got no chance of being there," Hunter told talkSPORT. "Yaya is a sublime footballer who played extraordinarily in that treble for Pep Guardiola [at Barcelona] but my own perception is that Yaya Toure will be moving on and he knows it."

Hunter has claimed that Toure's exit from Camp Nou was down to his reaction to Guardiola's demands and a conflict between the manager and his agent Dimitri Seluk.
