Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic will be the subject of a player-plus-cash offer from Liverpool this summer, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in Roberto Mancini's side this season, and, despite only recently signing him to a new five-year deal, Inter are rumoured to be willing to let the Croatian leave.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is thought to be an admirer of the player, and is readying an offer that includes Lucas Leiva, reports the Daily Star.
Kovacic, who has 19 caps for Croatia, joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2013.
