Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has reportedly set his sights on signing West Ham United on-loan midfielder Alex Song.
Song struggled for first-team football at parent club Barcelona, but started well at West Ham before suffering a dip in form.
According to The Mirror, that dip in performance has not put off the Nerazzurri, who are looking to rebuild their squad for next season.
It is thought that Mancini will finance that overhaul of his team by selling Croatian international Mateo Kovacic in the summer.
Meanwhile, Lukas Podolski's time at San Siro could be at an end, with Inter unlikely to make his loan move permanent.
The Arsenal forward has not scored in 12 games for the Serie A giants.
