Leeds United have confirmed the departure of veteran goalkeeper Paddy Kenny by mutual consent.
Reports emerged earlier this summer that Kenny, 36, was due to be axed because of an odd superstition held by new Leeds owner Massimo Cellino.
The club, who replaced Kenny with Marco Silvestri this summer, have now said that he is free to sign for another club.
Kenny made 76 league appearances for the Yorkshire side after joining from Queens Park Rangers two years ago.
