The agent of Moussa Marega has confirmed that Everton have registered an interest in the Porto forward.
Over the weekend, a report claimed that Everton were regarded as the favourites to sign the Malian international, who has scored 20 goals for the Portuguese giants this season.
The 26-year-old's representative has now revealed that the Toffees are in the market for Marega, who is said to have a release clause of £35m.
Aziz Ben Aissa told A Bola: "It is true that there are early contacts with several English clubs, among them Everton, but no decision has been made.
"It will only be with the natural knowledge and consent of FC Porto. Anything else that comes after this will be speculation."
West Ham United and Swansea City have also been credited with an interest in Marega.
