Crystal Palace have lined up a move for Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure ahead of a possible transfer this summer, according to a report.
Operating primarily as a defensive midfielder, the Mali international has made 31 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side this season, scoring one goal and registering four assists.
With his side impressing in the French top flight over the last couple of campaigns, clubs have been alerted to some of their top players.
The latest of these is Doucoure, with The Sun reporting that Palace boss Patrick Vieira has scouted the 22-year-old midfielder ahead of a transfer at the end of the season.
The report suggests that a deal is close, with a fee of around £15m to be agreed between the two parties to bring Doucoure to the Premier League for the 2022-23 campaign.
Meanwhile, as also highlighted in the report, the Eagles are also pursuing a deal to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to the club on a loan deal from Manchester United in the summer.
