Joel Ward: 'We will stick together'

Crystal Palace defender Joel Ward insists that the team will stick together as they attempt to overcome a poor start to the season.

Joel Ward has insisted that Crystal Palace will continue to 'move forward' as they attempt to overcome a poor start to the season.

The Eagles currently sit bottom of the Premier League, having won one and lost nine of their 10 league matches this season.

"We just need to start picking up points. We've got a great bunch of guys here who will dig in deep and keep focused on our jobs. We'll give everything we can to turn it around," he told the club's official website.

"Obviously it's not easy to take but you've got to take it on the chin and bounce back as quickly as possible.

"We'll take the positives from every game, keep moving forward, keep our heads down and try and turn things around. That's all we can do, that's all we can focus on and that's what we will try and do."

Palace return to league action against Everton on November 9.
