Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has bemoaned his side's FA Cup draw with Birmingham City on Saturday.
Daniel Sturridge's second-half goal earned a fifth-round replay for the Blues against their Championship opponents.
However, Cech believes that a win would have suited his team better ahead of Tuesday's Champions League tie at Napoli.
"Naturally it would have been better for our confidence if we had won ahead of the Champions League and this is not the result we wanted," he told his official website. "On the other hand, we are still in the cup, we have not been knocked out and I believe we will go through. I think the match at Birmingham will be similar to this one.
"We managed to lift ourselves up in the second half and it's only a pity that we did not add another goal."
Chelsea will travel to Birmingham for their replay on Tuesday, March 6.
