The first Old Firm derby of the 2018-19 season has been set for September 1 at Celtic Park.

Defending champions Celtic will take on Rangers at home in their fourth match of the new campaign, before facing a trip to Ibrox in their final match of 2018.

The derbies will see Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers come up against Steven Gerrard for the first time since the duo worked together at Liverpool, with a third Old Firm clash pencilled in for the end of March.

The Bhoys, who won a historic double-treble last season and are bidding for an eighth consecutive title, will open their campaign at home to Livingston before taking on Hearts away and Hamilton Academical at home.

Celtic's opening league game of 2019 is set to be a home clash with St Mirren, and they will end the regular campaign as it began, with a home time against Livingston.
