Aston Villa held off a late Norwich fight-back to win an entertaining encounter 3-2 at Villa Park.
Norwich started brightly as they forced Shay Given into a couple of early saves before they eventually took the lead.
Anthony Pilkington curled a free kick from 22 yards into the top corner of Given's net to make it 1-0 after 25 minutes.
Villa had chances of their own as Darren Bent contrived to miss with only John Ruddy to beat, but he soon made amends.
The England international tapped home from three yards out after being set up by a left wing cross from Gabriel Agbonlahor after half an hour.
Agbonlahor got on the scoresheet himself just three minutes into the second half as he latched onto Leon Barnett's weak backpass and slotted home to put Villa 2-1 up.
Agbonlahor was involved again 14 minutes later as he set up his strike partner Bent for his second, and Villa's third, goal of the match.
Villa seemed to relax and they paid the price in the 77th minute as Norwich made it 3-2 when Grant Holt pulled back for Steve Morison to head in.
Norwich pressed for an equaliser but Villa held on to record their first league win in four matches.
