Report: Theo Walcott targets Tottenham Hotspur return

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott reportedly wants to make his comeback from an eight-month injury layoff against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on September 27.

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has targeted his side's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur as his comeback game, according to a report.

The 25-year-old has been out of action for eight months after sustaining a knee injury against Spurs in their FA Cup clash at the Emirates Stadium in January.

Walcott is determined to make his comeback against Mauricio Pochettino's men in their Premier League showdown at the Emirates Stadium on September 27, following his return to full fitness, reports The Mirror.

Arsenal have taken five points from their three Premier League matches so far this season.
