Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez calls on his players not to change their style of play in order to avoid relegation.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has called on his players not to change their style of play in order to avoid relegation.

The Latics, who travel to Liverpool on Saturday, are currently 19th in the Premier League table with one win in their last six.

"The next nine games are crucial for us and there is nothing we have to do different at all," Martinez told Sky Sports News.

"All we need to do is be really consistent in the good things we have done and not lose focus on keeping producing chances.

"In a moment we can change with a little bit of luck in front of goal and start collecting points."

Wigan earned a goalless draw against Liverpool when the two sides met at the DW Stadium in December.
