Liverpool will hope to overcome their disappointment of losing to QPR when they host Wigan Athletic at Anfield this weekend.

Liverpool will hope to bounce back from their defeat to Queens Park Rangers, while Wigan Athletic attempt to climb out of the relegation zone when the two sides meet at Anfield on Saturday.

Kenny Dalglish is likely to make changes to his lineup following the Reds' 3-2 defeat to QPR at Loftus Road last night.

Charlie Adam is not expected to feature after picking up an injury in midweek, while Andy Carroll should come into the fold after starting on the bench against Rangers.

Dirk Kuyt could retain his place following his goal in West London, with Jon Flanagan expected to replace Martin Kelly if the full-back fails to overcome his injury.

Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez is likely to keep the same team that drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, with Franco Di Santo leading the line if Hugo Rodallega remains sidelined.

Current form:

Liverpool: WLLWWL
Wigan: DWDLDD

Possible lineups:

Liverpool: Reina; Enrique, Carragher, Skrtel, Flanagan; Downing, Gerrard, Spearing, Kuyt; Carroll, Suarez

Wigan: Al Habsi; Alcaraz, Caldwell, Boyce, Figueroa; McCarthy, Moses, Beausejour, McArthur; Gomez, Di Santo

Sports Mole says: 2-0
