West Ham United moved up to fourth place in the Championship after a 1-0 victory over Peterborough United at Upton Park.
An early Mark Noble penalty was enough to secure all three points for the home side.
Henri Lansbury tumbled under the challenge of Posh midfielder Lee Frecklington in the 11th minute and Noble sent Paul Jones the wrong way with the resulting spot-kick.
Sam Allardyce's side are now two points behind frontrunners Southampton, while Peterborough remain 11th.
