Tony Pulis expresses his gratitude towards the Stoke City supporters following his exit from the Britannia Stadium.

Tony Pulis has thanked Stoke City's fans for their support during a career at the Britannia Stadium that has spanned 10 years.

The 55-year-old parted company with the Premier League outfit for a second time in his career following seven years at the helm.

In an open letter to the Stoke Sentinel, Pulis wrote: "I'd like to start by thanking every single one of you who have made the last decade so special for me at Stoke City.

"I am grateful for this opportunity here to express my gratitude because, unlike Roberto Mancini in his local paper last week, I can't afford to take out a full-page advert. We have all been on one hell of a journey, one that will live with me and my family forever."

Meanwhile, Mark Hughes has been installed as the bookmakers' favourite to take the reins at Stoke.
