Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale believes that the club's 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Saturday is a turning point in their season.
Spurs held a 12-point lead over Arsenal in February, but a run of five league games without a win means they trail the Gunners by three points with eight league games remaining.
Bale, however, remains confident that Harry Redknapp's side can push on in the latter stages of the season.
"We haven't been at our best in the last month so it was vitally important that we put in a good performance and got a positive result at Stamford Bridge," the 22-year-old told Spurs TV Online.
"Now hopefully we can get back to winning in the next game and then kick on and get that third spot. We need Arsenal to lose now so we can get back on level terms.
"The lads all know we have stopped the rot now. I think we have had our blip now and now we can look forward to some positive results and get back where we belong."
Spurs face Bolton Wanderers in their FA Cup quarter-final on Tuesday.
