Leon Osman has reportedly emerged as a possible target for Rangers in the January transfer window.
After Joey Barton's controversial stay at Ibrox came to an end, Rangers are a player short in midfield, but it appears that boss Mark Warburton has identified a potential new arrival.
According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers look likely to make the most of Osman's availability by entering talks with the 35-year-old in January.
Osman has been without a club since his 16-season association with Everton came to an end in the summer but after a break from playing, he is expected to resume his career in the near future.
He scored 57 goals in 433 appearances during his time on Merseyside.
