Chris Cohen hoping to see more arrivals at Nottingham Forest

Chris Cohen believes that the number of new arrivals at Nottingham Forest will have a positive impact on the squad.

Chris Cohen has welcomed the number of new recruits signed by Nottingham Forest this summer as they bid for promotion from the Championship.

Stuart Pearce was busy in the early stages of the transfer window bringing in players, and is expected to continue with his business for the rest of the month. Cohen believes that creating further competition for places can only be a good thing this season.

"When everyone is fit I don't know if I will get a game," the club captain told the Nottingham Evening Post. "Previously I would always be very confident that I would.

"That shows the balance and depth that we have now, quite seriously.

"We have always had good players, but the squad has got better and better. There is no room for anyone to rest on their laurels."

Cohen has recently praised Pearce for his attitude since taking over the squad earlier this summer.
