Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has suggested that the club remain in positive contract negotiations with David de Gea and Marcus Rashford.
Anthony Martial, Ashley Young and Phil Jones have all recently extended their deals at Old Trafford, but United are still eager to secure the futures of De Gea and Rashford.
Both players have been attracting interest from elsewhere - most notably Real Madrid - but Woodward has hinted that United are doing what they can to resolve the issues.
According to Sky Sports News, Woodward told journalists during a conference call that the North-West giants are "hoping to finish off the final few" contracts by the end of the season.
Both De Gea and Rashford currently have just under 18 months left on their contracts.
