Manchester United have reportedly identified Edinson Cavani as a replacement for Radamel Falcao when the Colombian's loan deal with the Old Trafford side comes to an end in the summer.
The club had initially been linked with a permanent deal with the AS Monaco striker at the end of his season-long deal, but he has featured just seven times in the Premier League this season.
According to Le 10 Sport, United are preparing to open talks with Paris Saint-Germain for the Uruguay international in preparation for a move in the summer once Falcao has returned to Monaco.
Cavani, who has scored 13 goals in 26 appearances for PSG this season, has also been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks.
