Man United's chances of signing Gareth Bale ;ruined due to Real Madrid feud'

Manchester United's feud with Real Madrid has reportedly ruined their chances of ever signing Gareth Bale.

Manchester United's feud with Real Madrid has reportedly ruined their chances of ever signing Gareth Bale.

The Red Devils are believed to have been interested in the Welshman for some time, but after the club's dispute with Madrid over David de Gea, a future transfer appears unlikely.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper was expected to move to the Bernabeu on Monday, but the deal fell through because the paperwork was not submitted before the midnight deadline in Spain.

The clubs blamed one another for the collapse of the deal, and now, according to the Daily Star, Real president Florentino Perez has told fellow club officials that he will not do business with United again.

In turn, the Premier League giants accept that their chances of signing Bale, who joined Madrid for a world-record £85m fee in the summer of 2013, are ruined.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that United will offer De Gea a new contract.
