Juventus have reportedly decided to put contract talks with midfielder Andrea Pirlo on hold until at least the end of this year.
Pirlo is in the final year of his current deal with the Old Lady after joining the club on a free transfer from AC Milan in 2011.
The 34-year-old will now have to wait until the final weeks of 2013 for discussions over where his long-term future lies, according to Tuttosport.
In recent interviews Pirlo has been non-committal over signing an extension in Turin, insisting that he would consider a move abroad if he did not remain integral to Antonio Conte's plans.
In two years at Juve, the playmaker has helped them become the dominant force in Italian football, with Conte's side winning two successive Serie A titles.
Pirlo is currently on international duty with Italy and is in line to win his 103rd Azzurri cap against Bulgaria tonight.
