Juventus target Xabi Alonso?

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso could be a target for Juventus if Andrea Pirlo chooses to leave the Italian club, according to reports.

Juventus have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso as the perfect candidate to replace Andrea Pirlo.

Recent reports suggested that Pirlo was considering leaving the Serie A champions at the end of the current season due to concerns about his role within the team.

Juventus have already made plans if Pirlo does leave, with Alonso appearing to be their top target, according to Tuttosport.

Alonso's current deal with Madrid expires in June and the former Liverpool midfielder is reportedly reluctant to sign a new contract.

The Spaniard is currently out of action with an injured foot.
