Roberto Martinez admits to Premier League struggle

Everton are not enjoying their Premier League campaign, says manager Roberto Martinez.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has admitted that his players are not enjoying the Premier League season.

The Merseyside club lost 2-0 to Arsenal yesterday, making it just one win in their last 11 league games.

Martinez told Sky Sports News: "It has been more of a chore than enjoying our football.

"I have not seen that enjoyment in our team in the league with points at stake. I do see that enjoyment in the Europa League, but I feel the group is becoming stronger."

Everton sit 14th in the Premier League table, with Stoke City next up on Wednesday.
