Gareth Southgate has cooled injury concerns surrounding John Stones by insisting that he expects the centre-back to be fit for England's next World Cup outing.
Stones was replaced by Harry Maguire midway through the Three Lions' 1-0 defeat to Belgium on Thursday night with an apparent calf problem.
The Manchester City defender watched the second half from the bench with an ice pack on his lower leg, leading to concerns that he may miss Tuesday's last-16 showdown with Colombia.
Southgate has no such fears, however, as he stated in his post-match press conference at the Kaliningrad Stadium that he has "no concerns" over Stones's fitness, with the plan to replace him at the break in place before the match.
Stones has started all three of England's matches in Russia so far, totalling 225 minutes on the field.
