Domingos Paciencia steps down as coach of Deportivo Coruna after just six games in charge.

Domingos Paciencia has resigned from his role as coach of Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna.

The Portuguese tactician was appointed the team's coach at the end of December and lasted just six games at the Riazor.

One win and a draw in Paciencia's opening two matches were followed by four successive defeats, including Saturday's 3-0 home loss to Granada that left Depor at the foot of La Liga table with just 16 points from 23 matches, six points from safety.

Depor are yet to announce a new coach.
