Jose Mourinho: 'I won't break Sir Alex Ferguson's record'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that he will not break Sir Alex Ferguson's record of winning 13 Premier League titles.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he will not be able to break Sir Alex Ferguson's record of winning 13 Premier League titles after claiming a third championship with Chelsea at the weekend.

The Portuguese manager secured the eighth league title of his career, having also won two with Porto, two with Inter Milan and one in Spain with Real Madrid.

In an interview with BT Sport, Mourinho said: "I have a long way to go, but Sir Alex left the bar in an impossible position for anyone. I cannot win 13 Premier Leagues.

"I can win 13 championships. I can. I have eight, I think I can go to 13. But 13 Premier Leagues, no, no chance."

A 1-0 win over Crystal Palace gave the Blues their first league title in five years.
