Petr Cech urges Chelsea to keep winning to close the gap on Manchester City.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has urged his teammates to continue to pick up points in order to close the gap on the two Manchester clubs.

Two wins against Aston Villa and Norwich City have seen Chelsea close the gap on Manchester City, with the Londoners now four points behind in third place.

"There are so many games to play, we go to Everton next, which is never easy, but we've closed the gap on Manchester City," he told the club's official website.

"We need to keep picking up points to get as close to Manchester United and Manchester City. Hopefully we can pick up another three points at Everton which would be a really big win."

Chelsea are two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the table.
