Real Sociedad's David Moyes still hoping to sign Danny Ings?

A report claims that Real Sociedad are still in the race to sign Burnley forward Danny Ings.

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes is reportedly still hopeful of signing Burnley forward Danny Ings at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old, who has scored nine Premier League goals for Burnley this season, is widely expected to leave Turf Moor when his contract expires this summer.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly linked with a move for the Englishman, while Sociedad have retained a long-standing interest.

It had been suggested that Ings favoured a move to another Premier League club, but according to the Daily Mail, Moyes is still confident of bringing the striker to San Sebastian.

Ings has been with Burnley since 2011.
