Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer reveals that he wants to sign "three or four" players before the start of the new season.

Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has revealed that he would like to sign "three or four" players before the start of the new season.

The Championship club have already added nine names to their squad this summer ahead of Sunday's opener at Derby County.

"In an ideal world I'd love to get in three or four new faces, I really would," Bowyer told the Lancashire Telegraph. "It's constantly ongoing and will be until the end of the transfer window."

Rovers finished their pre-season campaign on Saturday with a 3-1 defeat at home to Everton.
