Lionel Messi reportedly missed Barcelona's training session on Wednesday, less than two weeks before the La Liga leaders return to action.
Barca's players were put through their paces at the club's Sant Joan Despi base ahead of the Spanish top flight's restart on June 11.
The Evening Standard reports that Messi was a high-profile absentee for Quique Setien's side, causing speculation that he may be injured.
Messi scored 19 goals and set up 12 more in 22 La Liga appearances before the coronavirus pandemic forced the division to shut down in early March.
Barca's first game back is away to Mallorca on June 13, before hosting Leganes at Camp Nou three days later.
