Arsenal are reportedly considering a £6m bid for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be keen on providing competition to Wojciech Szczesny this summer, although speculation indicated that Queens Park Rangers stopper Julio Cesar was his number one target.
However, reports in Holland claim that the Frenchman has now turned his attention towards a move for Krul, with Napoli thought to be in advanced negotiations for the Brazilian international.
The Magpies keeper, 25, has established himself as one of the Premier League's best keepers since breaking into the first team at St James' Park upon their return to the top flight.
He made his debut for the Dutch national side in a friendly match against Brazil in June 2011 and has gone on to win four more caps for his country.
