AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has revealed that Antonio Cassano could return to training following minor heart surgery.
The Serie A frontman has been sidelined since the beginning of November following an operation on his heart, which initially ruled him out for the rest of the season.
"The doctors haven't ruled out the possibility Cassano could return to training at the end of the month," the Daily Mail quotes Berlusconi as saying.
A potential early return could affect the proposed transfer of Man City's Carlos Tevez, who is believed to be a temporary replacement for Cassano.
