Massimiliano Allegri refuses to be drawn into discussions about his future at AC Milan.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has declined to comment on his future and insists that everyone at the club is focused on finishing in the top three in Serie A this season.

The Italian insists that he and his players are thinking only about winning against Pescara away from home on Wednesday and not about what will happen this summer.

"At this time the games are easy to prepare for," he told reporters. "We have a motivation that goes beyond the opponent. Tomorrow's game will be difficult, though. Pescara went to Rome recently and did well. We have to pay attention to their qualities. But we are a team that needs to win.

"It is important that we get three points tomorrow because it would allow us to go into upcoming games with a greater peace of mind. I am at peace because I do not want to speak any more about my future. It has become an issue and that just doesn't make sense.

"We are all focused on third place. It is not respectful to talk about my future at this time of the season. We'll talk about it over the summer – first with the board... and then maybe with the journalists!"

Milan are currently third in Serie A with 65 points from 35 matches.
