Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Casemiro is in line to make his Manchester United debut in Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

The Brazil international was presented as a Man United player ahead of Monday's 2-1 win over Liverpool, and the midfielder has now had his first training session with the club and will be involved this weekend.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag could name the 30-year-old in the starting XI, with Scott McTominay dropping to the bench despite a positive performance last time out.

However, there will be no Anthony Martial for the visitors, with the Frenchman ruled out of the contest due to an Achilles problem.

Martial took the place of Anthony Elanga at the interval of the team's last game, and the Frenchman was in line to start at centre-forward, with Marcus Rashford potentially playing off the left, but the same front three from the Liverpool game could again take to the field.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw were all dropped from the starting side against Liverpool, and the trio are likely to be among the substitutes once again here.

Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez should operate in the middle of the defence, with Diogo Dalot at right-back and Tyrell Malacia keeping out Shaw on the left.

Fred could again be frustrated when it comes to a starting spot, with Christian Eriksen set to retain his midfield spot alongside Bruno Fernandes, who could be the captain once again.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, L Martinez, Malacia; Fernandes, Casemiro, Eriksen; Sancho, Rashford, Elanga
