Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett wants his new side to develop a winning mentality heading into their League One campaign.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett wants his side to build a winning mentality heading into the new season.

Jackett replaced Dean Saunders in June after leaving Millwall at the end of last season and saw his new team beat Livingston in their second pre-season friendly match.

Jackett told the Birmingham Mail: "Winning is a habit that we want to build up. Perhaps to some degree the club got out of doing that.

"In terms of the team we are a work in progress, there's no doubt about that. Once the players understood what I wanted today we saw some good things.

"We created a lot of chances and had a lot of shots. We are on the right lines but we have to keep working hard. This gives us something to build on."

Wolves begin their League One campaign away at Preston North End on August 3.
