Boaz Myhill says that Belgium will be "worried" about what Wales can do to them.

Wales goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has called for his fellow countrymen to put in their best performance against a "worried" Belgium on Friday.

Chris Coleman's side take on a highly-rated Belgian team at Cardiff City Stadium in their opening World Cup qualifier.

While he admits that their opponents are the favourites to win the group, Myhill is adamant that Belgium will be worried about facing the Welsh.

"There's been a lot of talk about the Belgian players signed by Premier League clubs. That's raised their profile," said the 29-year-old. "It's obviously going to be a massive game for us. The start of any new qualification campaign is a big thing and if we can start with a win that would be perfect.

"At the beginning there is a massive weight of expectation. Anything can happen. We have to control that. It might be easier for them pressure-wise because they are away from home for the first game. They will be perhaps the top team in this and they will be a great test for us to start with.

"But we've got good players here too and they will be worried about what we can do. We just have to go out there and cause them more problems than they cause us."

Wales and Belgium are in Group A along with Scotland, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia.
