Stoke City reportedly decide that they will not make a quick decision on the future of manager Paul Lambert.

Stoke City have reportedly decided that they will take their time before making a decision on the future of manager Paul Lambert.

In January, Lambert replaced Mark Hughes in the dugout at the bet365 Stadium but the Scot was unable to keep the Potters in the Premier League.

Lambert has just over two years remaining on his contract but a report has previously claimed that both parties have a release clause in the event of relegation.

According to Sky Sports News, the future of Lambert remains in doubt and the club's hierarchy are not in any rush to make alterations ahead of next season.

Lambert recorded 13 points from his 15 matches in charge of the Staffordshire-based outfit, who finished in 19th place in the top-flight standings.
