Report: Tottenham Hotspur want Alvaro Vadillo

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Real Betis attacker Alvaro Vadillo this summer, but will have to activate the midfielder's release clause of £17m.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Real Betis attacker Alvaro Vadillo this summer.

The 20-year-old came through the youth system at Betis and has regularly been linked with a move away from the Spanish side.

According to The Sun, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a keen admirer of the youngster, having seen his talents first hand during his time managing in Spain's top flight.

The same report has claimed that Spurs will have to pay £17m for the winger, however, with Betis not prepared to sanction a move unless his release clause is met.

Vadillo has already made almost 50 first-team league appearances for Betis.
