John Bostock says that his loan spell at Swindon has made him a better player, and that staying at the club would not be a bad move.

John Bostock has said that he would consider staying at Swindon Town permanently.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, who is currently in his second loan spell at the County Ground, is due to return to White Hart Lane in January.

The 20-year-old told BBC Wiltshire: "If I'm playing and the gaffer has a plan for me, then I don't see why Swindon would be a bad place for me.

"It's a bit early to say if I'd be here permanently but I'm open minded. When they are ready to talk I'll be ready to listen.

"If you look at my previous loans I've never been given a chance to play week in, week out. I feel like a little kid in getting excited to play on a Saturday. I've really enjoyed it and it's getting the best out of me."

Spurs paid £700,000 to sign Bostock from Crystal Palace in 2008.
