West Ham's plans to take ownership of the Olympic Stadium after the games have collapsed, reports suggest.
The board of the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) has ended negotiations with West Ham over the delays caused by the legal dispute with Tottenham over the ownership of the stadium.
It is understood that the OPLC, the government and Boris Johnson instead plan for the stadium to remain in public ownership.
A new tenant will now be found, who will lease the stadium for an annual rent, instead of outright purchase.
Despite Boris Johnson's ultimatum to Spurs to accept a funding package for the redevelopment of their White Hart Lane ground and to withdraw their legal action, the OPLC have lost confidence in a quick resolution.
